cup of steel cut oats

cup of grits*

cups diced apples

cup dried cranberries
4
cups water
2
cups milk
1/4
cup brown sugar

Tbsp ground cinnamon
1
tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

Tbsp butter
Combine
all the ingredients, mix well. Let sit overnight in crockpot on low. Top with
chopped Pecans, slivered almonds and/or shredded coconut. Real recipe calls for
2 cups steel cut oats, do not substitute Rolled Oats it will come out Mushy.
The grits give it a different texture making it more of a porridge than
an oatmeal. Enjoy!
