Opportunities to Get Involved

Sarah, our financial liaison will be pcsing in January. If you are interested in helping out by finishing out this year as our financial liaison, please contact De'Etta @ misawa@pwoc.org.

If you have specific questions about the job or how much time it is currently taking, email Sarah with those specific questions at misawapwocfl@gmail.com.

We are also looking for someone to host our monthly PWOC book club. If you are interested in what is involved in this, please contact Mary at misawaprotre@gmail.com.

Beta Testers Sought

Would you be willing to help BETA TEST this upcoming year's curriculum for PWOCI WILD weekends? If you can spend a Saturday with us the end of December, please let De'Etta know at misawa@pwoc.org.

You will participate in three workshops, provide feedback on the training, enjoy lunch and snacks.  I need at least five or six ladies to make this work well.  You do NOT need to be a current exec board member and you do NOT have to be interested in being a local board member to help out.

We'll be beta testing two workshops on being a local PWOC Financial Liaison and one designed for Admin Coordinators and Financial Liaisons.

We'd Love to Celebrate with You!

Please note no Children's Ministry will be provided for this event.

Conference Work Party

PWOC Ladies,

If you’d like to join us for a bit of an impromptu work party tomorrow (3 Nov) at 10:00 – 11:30 for lingering Asia Region conference projects – we’d love to have you.  Feel NO GUILT if you work or have other plans and can’t help.  The desire to help was expressed so I’m making the opportunity known.

We’ll set up our work tables in the nursery/classroom so you can watch your children and work if that is a dynamic that will work for you.  We will basically cut, laminate, punch, assemble any of those sorts of things that I usually do with my kids the day before a retreat – conference is a bit bigger of a job. ::snort::

Projects:
·         Cut scripture cards
·         Punch holes in scripture cards
·         Assemble scripture packs
·         Cut scripture cards for prayer room
·         Cut commitment card for prayer room
·         Collate (maybe staple) workshop hands outs
·         Cut table labels apart

Items to Bring if you have: hole punches, paper cutters

*Side note – there is a small chance we will have to print remaining scripture cards on normal paper and  laminate, cut and punch….I’m shopping today for options and working on having all copied and ready to go by 10:00 on Nov 3.

Choosing Joy!
De'Etta
