Your Donations Make a Difference

 

Every other month PWOC members, and their children, visit a local Senior Citizen Home to celebrate the birthdays of residents. YOUR DONATIONS bring smiles to many faces. Below are some items which our Nursing Home Ministry could currently use.We will collect every week in the month of May on Tuesday mornings during PWOC Bible study and every Sunday there will be a basket set out by the foyer pillar against the wall that will say "PWOC Nursing Home Donations".

•  Shampoo (Suave or V05)
• Lotion (small trial size is fine)
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrush
• Cotton Swabs (trial size)
• Ivory or Dove bar soap
• Shaving Cream
• Razors
• Socks (female and male)
• Combs
• Cookie or Brownie mixes
• Hand Towels (3 pack for $ 5)
• Small stuffed teddy bears

 

If you are interested in joining us we will visit the nursing home again Fri., June 25th at 3:30. The residents LOVE children. This is a great opportunity to try your Japanese language skills out with a very friendly audience.
